Purithenes

Purithenes is a Sacred Smith in service of Hephaistus, as well as being high priest of that god's temple, the Hephaisteion.  He is a tall, brooding man, walking with the same limp as his deity after being injured while serving as a Hoplite soldier in the north.  This injury gave him a vision of Hephaistus which convinced Purithenes that his real calling was in service of the god of Forge and Fire.  This is no great stretch for Purithenes, whose parents were potters living near the Hephaisteion in Athens' Keramiekos (Potter's Quarter).
